Jesus Christ the Greatest Leader of all the Ages

By Roger Pritchett

The following article was written by my sixteen year old daughter for a leadership class. The assignment was to write a research paper on who they think was the most influential and effective leader of all time. The fact that she attends a public school did not change how she would write her paper. She did not write this paper on her own, but had the help of the Holy Spirit that gave her boldness and authority that only the Holy Spirit can give. She wrote about who Jesus Christ is and what he is to her and the impact of his leadership over two thousand years later. This leadership paper earned her an A, but more importantly it shines to the world that the greatest and most effective leader of all time truly is Jesus Christ. Put your faith and hope in Jesus Christ and not the leadership of this world. I believe this generation will see the Rapture and those left behind that live long enough will see the coming leadership of a false Christ called the antichrist. The world following the Rapture will be plunged into the seven year tribulation and will look to a leader to solve the world’s problems of a world turned upside down with absolute chaos. This man will come forward proclaiming to be Jesus Christ but he will be a false Christ. Do not put your faith and trust in the leadership of this false Christ because his leadership will lead to the road to hell. This article from my daughter is about the one and only true God and his only begotten son Jesus Christ. He was born over two thousand years ago in a stable and died on a cruel Roman cross. He arose from the dead three days later and is coming back soon to take true Christians to be with him for all eternity. His time on this earth was only 33 years but his leadership changed the world.

Leadership

Jesus Christ

Jesus. Some people may not understand why this person is such an important part of history, or why I believe He is a leader and therefore chose to write about Him. If someone were to ask me these questions I would say, I chose to write about Him because He is the most important person in my life. I consider Him a leader because He set an example for all of us when He came to this earth. He taught us that it is okay to be who you are and stand up for what you believe in. I feel that these things make Him a positive and effective leader.

The story of Jesus’ birth and how He was conceived is not one you hear every day. In Luke 2:1-20, the bible tells the story of a young girl named Mary, who was engaged to be married to a boy named Joseph. One day, an angel of the Lord appeared to Mary and told her that she would conceive a child through the Holy Spirit and she would give birth to a baby boy who was to be given the name Jesus. And so it was. She gave birth in a stable and placed the baby in a manger. This child would deliver his people from sin by dying on a cross as a human sacrifice.

The bible mentions some of Jesus’ family in Mark 6:3. He had a mother named Mary, a father named Joseph, an aunt named Elizabeth, an Uncle Zechariah, and four brothers named James, Joses, Juda, and Simon. He also had sisters, but their names are never mentioned. These family members were very supportive of Jesus’ ministry.

Jesus’ road to success begins when He was just twelve years old. In Luke chapter two, it tells the story of a young Jesus and His parents traveling to Jerusalem to celebrate Passover. After the celebration, Mary and Joseph left town in a crowd of people and realized that Jesus was not with them. They then returned to Jerusalem to look for the boy, and found Him in the temple sitting among the religious teachers listening and asking them questions. Everyone who was around was amazed with His understanding and His answers. When His parents found Him, His mother said to Him, “Son, why have you treated us like this? Your father and I have been anxiously searching for you.” “Why were you searching for me?” He asked, “Didn’t you know I had to be in my Father’s house?” This was the beginning of Jesus’ ministry.

Jesus chose a group of twelve men to help Him preach to people. These men were called “The Twelve Disciples.” Amongst them were Peter, James, John, Judas Iscariot, Andrew, Phillip, Bartholomew, Matthew, Thomas, James – Son of Alphaeus, Thadaeus, and Simon. Another part of Jesus’ road to success was His characteristics. He was patient, He had devotion to His ministry, He loved those who hated Him, and cared for people who did not know Him. He had many challenges in His life. He suffered persecution and humiliation from people and from the government. He was mocked, He was laughed at, and He was denied, but He still loved these people unconditionally.

Jesus paved the road to salvation and eternal life through His greatest achievement – dying on a cross for our sins so that we may be saved and live in heaven for an eternity. He had many achievements in life, such as performing miracles, but this was the greatest of them all. He was betrayed by Judas Iscariot, who was one of his disciples, who turned Him over to the Roman government. He was arrested, beaten and mocked. They put a crown of thorns on His head and forced Him to carry a cross, on which He would be nailed, up to a hill called ‘Golgotha’. By doing this, He pardoned sin once and for all. While He was dying, He said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing”, and His last words were “It is finished.” Because of His death, Christ has given eternal life to all who will believe in Him and confess their sins and invite Him into their hearts. After His death on the cross, Jesus was buried in a tomb but after three days, the tomb opened and He rose from the dead and ascended into heaven.

Christ has had a major impact on the world. He has saved millions of people who will live in heaven for an eternity because they have repented of their sins and strive to live a righteous life by witnessing to others about how awesome God is. He has changed my life, and has had an impact on my family as well. We try to live the best lives we can by telling people of Jesus and what he did for them, though we know we will never be perfect.

Not everyone has the same opinion I do about Jesus. Some people deny His existence, and others just choose not to follow Him because they do not want to surrender all the things in their lives that they know in their heart is wrong. But I say that if you are living in sin and you know it, you need to repent and ask Jesus into your life and surrender completely. This is the only way you will have peace and true happiness.

Throughout this assignment, I have learned more and more about Jesus and about His life. My opinion of Him being a leader is still the same as it was when I first started this paper. I believe He is the most effective leader there ever was. What other leader would die on cross for you so that you could be saved? I think Jesus is one of a kind and is the real deal.

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”

-John 3:16

Interview

Fred Pritchett

You can be the most powerful leader of the world and still be powerless against the coming judgments of God following the Rapture. You can have unimaginable wealth and power and you will still be powerless against the hand of God coming against this world.

Make the choice now while there is time to follow Jesus Christ and accept his free gift of salvation. If you choose not to follow Jesus Christ  and are left behind after the Rapture there will be a time during the tribulation if you survive long enough that you will be forced to follow the leader that the Bible calls, “the man of sin” the anti-christ. This false christ will deceive millions and will demand their worship and accept his mark or be beheaded. If you accept this mark you are eternally damned and there is no hope ever for salvation. To follow the leadership of Jesus Christ and accept his blood for forgiveness of your sins will give you eternal everlasting life with Jesus Christ in heaven for all eternity.

The true message of Jesus Christ from a young true believer that is unashamed of the gospel to witness to this lost and dying world has to make Jesus smile. To know that my daughter’s faith and trust is in the leadership of the Lord Jesus Christ and not in this world is more valuable than all the wealth, power and pleasures of the entire world. To know that she loves and knows Jesus Christ and seeks a daily relationship with him is all that matters. There is nothing more important in the entire world than our relationship with Jesus Christ.  Accept the free gift of salvation through the blood of Jesus Christ and trust his leadership and serve him with all your heart, mind, and soul and live forever with Jesus Christ.
