One Taken, One Left
By Roger Pritchett
This is not a
message to tickle
the ear or to lull
you to sleep. This
message contains
powerful passages
from God’s Holy Word
the Bible. This
writing shows many
scriptures of Jesus
very words that he
spoke emphasized in
red. I don’t think
it could be any
plainer or
emphasized with more
importance what
Jesus is telling us.
Are these words
spoken by Jesus
himself telling us
that as many who
make the rapture
there will be as
many who miss the
rapture?
Luke 17:35
Two
women
shall be grinding
together; the one
shall be taken, and
the other left.
Luke 17:36
Two
men
shall be in the
field; the one shall
be taken, and the
other left.
Matthew 24:40
Then shall two men
be in the field; one
is taken, and one is
left:
Matthew
24:41
two women
shall be
grinding at the
mill; one is taken,
and one is left.
Matthew 24:42
Watch therefore: for
ye know not on what
day your Lord
cometh.
Matthew 25:1
Then shall the
kingdom of heaven be
likened unto ten
virgins, which took
their lamps, and
went forth to meet
the bridegroom.
Matthew 25:2
And five of them
were wise, and five
were
foolish.
Matthew 25:3
They that
were
foolish took their
lamps, and took no
oil with them:
Matthew 25:4
But the wise took
oil in their vessels
with their lamps.
Matthew 25:5
While the bridegroom
tarried, they all
slumbered and slept.
Matthew 25:6
And at midnight
there was a cry
made, Behold, the
bridegroom cometh;
go ye out to meet
him.
Matthew 25:7
Then all those
virgins arose, and
trimmed their lamps.
Matthew 25:8
And the foolish said
unto the wise, Give
us of your oil; for
our lamps are gone
out.
Matthew 25:9
But the wise
answered, saying,
Not so;
lest there be not
enough for us and
you: but go ye
rather to them that
sell, and buy for
yourselves.
Matthew 25:10
And while they went
to buy, the
bridegroom came; and
they that were ready
went in with him to
the marriage: and
the door was shut.
Matthew 25:11
Afterward came also
the other virgins,
saying, Lord, Lord,
open to us.
Matthew 25:12
But he answered and
said, Verily I say
unto you, I know you
not.
Matthew 25:13
Watch therefore, for
ye know neither the
day nor the hour
wherein the Son of
man cometh.
The words of Christ
below is saying that
few be that find it.
Why does God’s
creation of men and
women choose the
large gate and broad
way with much
company? When we
live out of flesh
unconfined, and
uncontrolled with
the multitude to do
evil we are vacant
of the Spirit of
God. Are the words
of Jesus saying that
many would go astray
by not taking the
narrow way leading
to the strait gate?
The word few is the
key word here.
Matthew 7:13
Enter ye in at the
strait gate: for
wide
is
the gate, and broad
is
the way, that
leadeth to
destruction, and
many there be which
go in thereat:
Matthew 7:14
Because strait
is
the gate, and narrow
is
the way, which
leadeth unto life,
and few there be
that find it.
Are there going to
be those that will
miss the rapture
that are deceived by
thinking they are
saved, but have no
relationship with
Christ? I heard a
wonderful message
some time back in a
Southern Baptist
Church using a bad
relationship example
with a spouse. He
said what kind of
relationship would
there be with a
spouse if they only
saw each other and
talked briefly for
an hour or so on
Sunday? What if they
only saw each other
a couple times a
year or less? What
if they did as they
please all week and
just stopped by for
a quick visit once a
week or once in a
while?
What if they
done things over and
over to hurt the
other and sometimes
took great joy in
inflicting this
pain. Would an
unapologetic half
hearted sorry be
enough to sustain
this relationship?
Would the apology be
accepted if they
knew the cycle of
betrayal would begin
hours later? Will
pride stand in the
way in the hearts of
man to admit there
is perpetual sin in
their life and only
Jesus can take it
away? What about
those that think
works will get them
into heaven? Are
there going to be
those that will miss
the rapture that are
deceived by thinking
they can do works
for Christ to make
up for their un
repented sins and
completely
nonexistent
relationship with
Christ?
Matthew 7:21
Not every one that
saith unto me, Lord,
Lord, shall enter
into the kingdom of
heaven; but he that
doeth the will of my
Father which is in
heaven.
Matthew 7:22
Many will say to me
in that day, Lord,
Lord, have we not
prophesied in thy
name? and in thy
name have cast out
devils? and in thy
name done many
wonderful works?
Matthew 7:23
And then will I
profess unto them, I
never knew you:
depart from me, ye
that work iniquity.
Beware of and do not
attend churches that
have false worship,
false Christians,
and false teachings
of God. Beware that
there are many who
profess to know God
and this includes
pastors. Many have
an outward ministry
and externally
receive the gospel
and profess Jesus.
Many are lost and
have no desire to
deny sin and have no
love for a holiness
of LIFE. Many
profess in words and
works that they know
the Lord, but they
deny the power of
the Holy Spirit to
work in their lives
and reside in their
souls. They are born
again by words only
and not by the power
of the Spirit of
God. There is no
true repentance and
desire to hate sin.
They hold on to the
things of the world
that has become
idols in their LIFE
and are separated
from God.
The very
words that Christ
spoke from the Bible
in red below are
telling us to be on
the lookout for
false prophets.
Matthew 7:15
Beware of false
prophets, which come
to you in sheep's
clothing, but
inwardly they are
ravening wolves.
Matthew 7:16
Ye shall know them
by their fruits. Do
men gather grapes of
thorns, or figs of
thistles?
Matthew 7:17
Even so every good
tree bringeth forth
good fruit; but a
corrupt tree
bringeth forth evil
fruit.
Matthew 7:18
A good tree cannot
bring forth evil
fruit, neither
can
a corrupt tree bring
forth good fruit.
Matthew 7:19
Every tree that
bringeth not forth
good fruit is hewn
down, and cast into
the fire.
Matthew 7:20
Wherefore by their
fruits ye shall know
them.
Matthew 24:11
And many false
prophets shall rise,
and shall deceive
many.
Matthew 24:12
And because iniquity
shall abound, the
love of many shall
wax cold.
Matthew 24:13
But he that shall
endure unto the end,
the same shall be
saved.
Matthew 24:24
For there shall
arise false Christs,
and false prophets,
and shall shew great
signs and wonders;
insomuch that, if
it were
possible, they shall
deceive the very
elect.
Mark 13:22
For false Christs
and false prophets
shall rise, and
shall shew signs and
wonders, to seduce,
if
it were
possible, even the
elect.
Beware of professing
believers and
preachers that are
hanging onto the
world with one hand
and are holding onto
God with the other
hand. Beware of
churches that have
emotional gatherings
that have a form of
Godliness, but deny
the power of a
genuine move of the
Holy Spirit.
Churches and
ministers that are
accepting of sin and
strive to look like
the world to attract
the masses are false
before almighty God.
The parable of the
tares among the
wheat talks about
good seed growing
along bad seed.
Christ talked about
this and said to not
root up the tares
because it will root
up the wheat also.
The very words that
Christ spoke from
the Bible in red
below tells us to
wait till harvest
and then the tares
will be destroyed by
fire and the wheat
would be gathered.
Matthew 13:24
Another
parable put he forth
unto them, saying,
The kingdom of
heaven is likened
unto a man which
sowed good seed in
his field:
Matthew 13:25
But while men slept,
his enemy came and
sowed tares among
the wheat, and went
his way.
Matthew 13:26
But when the blade
was sprung up, and
brought forth fruit,
then appeared the
tares also.
Matthew 13:27
So the servants of
the householder came
and said unto him,
Sir, didst not thou
sow good seed in thy
field? from whence
then hath it tares?
Matthew 13:28
He said unto them,
An enemy hath done
this. The servants
said unto him, Wilt
thou then that we go
and gather them up?
Matthew 13:29
But he said, Nay;
lest while ye gather
up the tares, ye
root up also the
wheat with them.
Matthew 13:30
Let both grow
together until the
harvest: and in the
time of harvest I
will say to the
reapers, Gather ye
together first the
tares, and bind them
in bundles to burn
them: but gather the
wheat into my barn.
Scripture warns of
false prophets only
out for self and
material gain. What
have we seen over
the past decades?
These are men with
corrupt minds with
corrupt principles
that corrupt the
word of God. These
false prophets deny
the truth and do not
have the Spirit of
God. These are false
teachers that serve
themselves with
worldly profit and
gain. They teach
that all prosperity
is consistent with
religion and that
anything less is
inconsistent with
religion. They teach
that an increase of
property is of
course true
religion.
1Timothy 6:5
Perverse
disputings of men of
corrupt minds, and
destitute of the
truth, supposing
that gain is
godliness: from such
withdraw thyself.
The word of God also
warns against
outright lies and
heresies that false
prophets would
teach. Theses false
prophets will
attract the masses
and with great
deceptions will lead
many to destruction
in the fires of
hell.
2Peter 2:1
But there
were false prophets
also among the
people, even as
there shall be false
teachers among you,
who privily shall
bring in damnable
heresies, even
denying the Lord
that bought them,
and bring upon
themselves swift
destruction.
2Peter 2:2
And many
shall follow their
pernicious ways; by
reason of whom the
way of truth shall
be evil spoken of.
When sin is not
being preached about
and warnings to the
saints a lukewarm
church will be the
result. They have a
form of Godliness,
but deny the power
of the Holy Spirit.
The words of
Christ’s say that in
the last days that
many would be
lukewarm and would
be rejected by God.
They are rich and in
need of nothing.
Scripture could not
be any plainer with
Christ’s very words
telling us that he
will reject these
that have grown
lukewarm.
Revelation 3:16
So then because thou
art lukewarm, and
neither cold nor
hot, I will spue
thee out of my
mouth.
Revelation 3:17
Because thou sayest,
I am rich, and
increased with
goods, and have need
of nothing; and
knowest not that
thou art wretched,
and miserable, and
poor, and blind, and
naked:
When we stand before
God on that final
judgment day there
will be no divisions
of people. There
will not be sections
with religious
denominations,
people groups, and
any other divisions
of people. If you
were deceived by
wrong teachings
there will be no
excuses of what you
were taught by
preachers and
teachers or
denominational
teachings or what
you thought the
Bible said. Read the
Bible yourself and
know what it says.
1John 4:1
Beloved,
believe not every
spirit, but try the
spirits whether they
are of God: because
many false prophets
are gone out into
the world.
1John 4:2
Hereby know
ye the Spirit of
God: Every spirit
that confesseth that
Jesus Christ is come
in the flesh is of
God:
1John 4:3
And every
spirit that
confesseth not that
Jesus Christ is come
in the flesh is not
of God: and this is
that
spirit of
antichrist, whereof
ye have heard that
it should come; and
even now already is
it in the world.
The false church and
false Christian have
turned away from the
truth of God’s word
and sound teaching.
They will see the
error of their way
after the Rapture in
the seven year
tribulation, but it
will be too late. If
they survive long
enough they will be
forced to worship
the antichrist and
take his mark or
face death by
beheading. The only
hope they will have
during the
tribulation is to
truly accept Jesus
as their Lord and
Savior and never
take the mark of the
antichrist even if
it means death.
Romans 14:11
For it is
written,
As I live,
saith the Lord,
every knee shall bow
to me, and every
tongue shall confess
to God.
Romans 14:12
So then every
one of us shall give
account of himself
to God.
Repent and ask
forgiveness of your
sins, have faith in
Christ and him
alone, serve God
with all your heart
and soul, live the
most righteous and
holy LIFE you can
before God, and
worship God in
Spirit and truth
before it is too
late.
Romans 12:1
I beseech you
therefore, brethren,
by the mercies of
God, that ye present
your bodies a living
sacrifice, holy,
acceptable unto God,
which is your
reasonable service.
Romans 12:2
And be not
conformed to this
world: but be ye
transformed by the
renewing of your
mind, that ye may
prove what
is that good,
and acceptable, and
perfect, will of
God.
Romans 12:3
For I say,
through the grace
given unto me, to
every man that is
among you, not to
think
of himself
more highly than he
ought to think; but
to think soberly,
according as God
hath dealt to every
man the measure of
faith.
You can escape the
coming judgments of
God before it is too
late. You can have
eternal LIFE with
Jesus Christ. Don’t
be left behind after
the Rapture in a
world vacant of
Christians that have
the Holy Spirit of
the living God in
their hearts, minds,
and souls. Make no
mistake in knowing
that it is the
restraining power of
the Holy Spirit of
God that keeps evil
from completely
reining over the
entire world now.
After the rapture
God’s hand of
judgment will begin
on a world that has
rejected him. The
tribulation will be
hell on earth
following the
Rapture, but the
tribulation is only
a warm up before the
real fires of hell
awaiting those that
Christ does not know
on judgment day.
Have eternal LIFE
and repent of all
sin you have
committed and ask
Jesus to forgive you
of all your sins and
be saved. The blood
of Christ will
remove all sin from
your heart and soul
and eternal LIFE in
Jesus is yours.
Have faith
and believe in the
Lord Jesus Christ
and not on the
things of this
world, government,
and man. Make sure
your name is in the
book of Life by
having the blood of
Christ covering your
sins.
Revelation 20:15
And whosoever
was not found
written in the book
of life was cast
into the lake of
fire.
