A Mockery of Sin

By Jason Lovelace

Key Scriptures:

“Fools make a mock at sin…”

– Proverbs 14.9

“Righteousness exalteth a nation:  but sin is a reproach to any people.”

– Proverbs 14.34

“For, behold, darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people…”

– Isaiah 60.2

“In whom the god of this world hath blinded minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine among them.”

– 2nd Corinthians 4.4

“These six things doth the Lord hate:  yea, seven are an abomination to him: A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief, A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among the brethren.”

– Proverbs 6.16~19

“For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.”

– 2nd Corinthians 4.6

“…the voice of thy brother’s blood crieth unto me from the ground.  And now thou art cursed from the earth, which hath opened her mouth to receive thy brother’s blood from thy hand.”

– Genesis 4.10~11

While reading this story, I could not help but weep inwardly at the mockery being presented here by its author.  Yet this sort of attitude is prevalent among those who make light of sin, who compromise and even embrace deviant behaviors and lifestyles, and who have basically sided with the world with their lives, words, and actions.  In this particular case, not only is the author of this particular story merely making light of sin, but doing so to one of the things that Christ Himself spoke openly about:  children and their treatment by society.

Children:  A Society’s Greatest Resource

There is no doubting that children are the strongest and most necessary assets to any society.  Face it, folks, without children, no civilization or nation can survive.  When a society has a good number of children not only alive, but having a high rate of birth, that society will be stronger, and this is especially so when children are brought up in a mother-father, two-parent home.  If a nation is producing strong, educated, morally upright children, that society will not only be strong, but carry great influence around the world.  Victorian Britain was such a nation.  At the beginning of Queen Victoria’s reign, children were regularly forced to work in Great Britain ten to twelve hours per day, often in dangerous situations.  By the time of her death, lawmakers in the British Parliament had taken steps to end this practice, to increase and encourage education, and to help them better understand morals and ethics as taught in the Bible.  It can be no coincidence that, by the time Queen Victoria was laid to rest, The Sun Never Set on the Union Jack.  The same can be said for the United States of America in the late 91th and early 20th Centuries.  The US had followed the practices of most of the nations involved most heavily in the industrial revolution, and had employed children for up to twelve hours per day usually in very dangerous jobs.  However, as with Great Britain, the US Federal Government made laws and took steps to end the practice of child labor, established elementary, secondary, and high schools, and universities to encourage and promote education, and allowed churches to take the lead in teaching morals and ethics to our young ones.  Again, the result can be no coincidence:  the USA has been the dominant nation in the latter half of the 20th and the first decade of the 21st Centuries.  On the battlefield, when a unit of soldiers from other nations entered, fear of rape, pillage, and destruction filled the inhabitants’ minds.  However, when British or US troops came into even an enemy town, the reception was quite different:  often that of liberation and freedom.  The reason is precisely because these soldiers, both as children and upon entering the militaries of the Crown and the States respectively, were taught morals, ethics, and correct conduct.

“Suffer the Little Children to Come unto Me, and Forbid Them Not…”

The reason that nations are blessed when children are correctly and properly raised, and treated as a nation’s and society’s greatest treasure is directly because of Christ’s attitude concerning them:

“And they brought unto him also infants, that he would touch them: but when his disciples saw it, they rebuked them.  But Jesus called them unto him, and said, ‘Suffer little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God.  Verily I say unto you, “Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child shall in no wise enter therein.”’”

– Luke 18.15~17

“At the same time came the disciples unto Jesus, saying, ‘Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?’  And Jesus called a little child unto him, and set him in the midst of them, And said, ‘Verily I say unto you, “Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.”  Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven.  And whoso shall receive one such little child in my name receiveth me.  But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea.’”

– Matthew 18.1~6

“Then were there brought unto him little children, that he should put his hands on them, and pray: and the disciples rebuked them.  But Jesus said, ‘Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven.’  And he laid his hands on them, and departed thence.”

– Matthew 19.13~16

“And they brought young children to him, that he should touch them: and his disciples rebuked those that brought them.  But when Jesus saw it, he was much displeased, and said unto them, ‘Suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God.  Verily I say unto you, “Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child, he shall not enter therein.”‘ And he took them up in his arms, put his hands upon them, and blessed them.”

– Mark 10.13~16

And whosoever shall offend one of these little ones that believe in me, it is better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he were cast into the sea.”

– Mark 9.42

“It were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he cast into the sea, than that he should offend one of these little ones.

– Luke 17.2

As we see above and elsewhere in the Bible, God takes great interest and care in the protection and right treatment of children.  In the Proverbs, God time and time again through the pen of King Solomon admonishes people to bring up children wisely, with discipline, and with love and care, showing respect to parents and elders.  Nations that have followed the principles found in the Bible have always flourished as have individual families.

A Nation of Millstones

The problems for nations come when they choose to take a path that harms or destroys children, and leads them away from God.  As we see above, Christ admonishes his listeners and readers to cause children to follow a righteous path.  He even sets the warning with impeccable clarity:

Take heed that ye despise not one of these little ones; for I say unto you, That in heaven their angels do always behold the face of my Father which is in heaven.

– Matthew 18.10

Nations, societies and civilizations that have destroyed children for one reason or another have always ended up on the trash heap, and lest anyone of the readers of this article begin to state that Israel was responsible for the deaths of the Canaanite Children, and suffered nothing at the hands of God, think again:  God destroyed Israel, removing her politically off of the face of the earth for more than two thousand years precisely because f her treatment of children, particularly in the Old Testament times when the Children of Israel worshipped gods such as Molech/Milcom and Baal, both idols demanding human sacrifice (infants) as a part of their worship.  God time and time again in the Five Books of Moses and elsewhere in the Historical and Prophetic Books of the Old Testament warns readers to forbid their children from passing through the fire in the form of idol worship.  The Israelites chose to ignore these warnings, and not only did her kingdom split north and south, but they were each destroyed and removed politically.  The same has happened for each and every other civilization that has done the same to children.

The USA - In The Bull’s Eye of God’s Wrathful Judgment

Since 1973 and the infamous Roe v. Wade case, the USA has essentially been one giant Auschwitz.  Since that time, more than 50 million babies have been aborted, and for one, overlying cause:  convenience.  Since the Roe v. Wade decision, more than 99% of all abortions performed have been for the sake of convenience.  In essence, the mother of the baby simply killed her unborn because the baby was getting in the way in some form or another with her plans.  We hear in the news and on the left about how abortion is necessary because of rape or incest.  We hear how horrid and wretched it would be for the mother of a baby conceived by rape to carry to term and bear the child of such a criminal, created in such a crime.  Mainstream media tirelessly groans on and on about how babies with the high potential to be born deformed should be aborted as a matter of choice on the part of the mother.  Yet for all of this rhetoric, abortions, more than 99% of the time, are performed for no other reason than the convenience of the mother.  Yes, there is a case where abortion should be legal, that being the case of an ectopic pregnancy (one where the baby attaches itself to one of the fallopian tubes) in which both the child and mother are facing certain death, but again we almost never hear the media screaming for this kind of abortion.  The fact of the matter is the USA’s legalizing of abortion puts her right in the lion’s mouth as it were.  Just as God did not stand for ancient Egypt, Canaan, Israel, Sodom, Gomorrah, Rome, Greece, and every other civilization that allowed children to be murdered, so, too, will he not allow the USA to continue if we keep up the practice of killing the unborn in the name of ease and convenience.  September 11th, 2001, when the terrorists struck New York and D.C. seems to have been the wake-up call that America has ignored.  We have gone form that unifying day, in which things were promised to be set to rights, and church attendance was way, way up, to today, where we have elected a staunchly Pro-Infanticide President and Congress into power, all in the name of “change” (read ease, comfort and convenience).  If this current presidential administration is allowed to forever entrench pro-infanticide by the Freedom of Choice Act (FOCA), the USA will likely face another terrorist attack, one that will make 9/11/2001 look like a cakewalk by comparison:  it will likely be nuclear.

Enter SerenaDante and “Proposition:  Fetus Rights”

SerenaDante’s recent posting and article fits the bill as described by Paul to Timothy:

This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.  For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.  For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.”

– II Timothy 3.1~7

Though her article is shrouded in sarcasm, meant to be fun, the tragic fact of the matter is the article in question is dealing with a very serious subject:  infanticide (commonly and euphemistically known as “abortion”).  But using humor to cover up the seriousness of a topic or social issue is nothing new (II Corinthians 2.11).  As any student of history can tell you, the best way to defang a hard issue is to humorize it in some way or another, making light of the issue or subject in question.  Making light of an issue often turns serious issues into non-issues in a lot of people’s minds.  Take Answers in GenesisCreation Museum as an example.  More articles have been written against this fine museum using sarcasm and humor than those asking serious questions or attempting serious debate.  Who can forget Alexandra Pelosi’s mocking documentary Friends of God: A Road Trip with Alexandra Pelosi of 2006?  In this film, Pelosi (Daughter of the current Speaker of the United States’ House of Representatives) takes a light-hearted, sniping approach to various topics in the USA regarding Christianity, particularly the Creation Museum and the teaching of Christian values.  No where in this movie does Pelosi ask serious or hard questions.  It is the same with SerenaDante’s article to which this is in response:  rather than ask serious, hard-hitting questions concerning the rights of the unborn, SerenaDante instead makes light of the issue and question of the legality of Abortion on Demand and the rights of the unborn.

Fetus and Abortion – Just Another Way of Saying Untermensch and Endlösung

SerenaDante in her article uses the word “Fetus” and this is no surprise:  such is a tactic as old as the hills and as predictable as saying “Snow will come to the North in Winter.”  All throughout history, the easiest and most effective way of dehumanizing unwanted, undesired, or enemy people groups.  From the Romans we have the word barbarian, which means uncivilized people.  From the dark ages comes the word Vandal, which – though it really meant an Indo-European people group which migrated West in the late 4th and 5th centuries AD – means a disgraceful, destructive person (and from which we get the word vandalism).  From World War One, Allied nations were introduced to the word Hun, a word which really stood for another Indo-European people group which migrated into the Western part of Europe in the 3rd and 4th centuries AD, but which was used to describe German and Austrian soldiers.  A similar tactic was used in Germany post-World War One to describe a sector of society deemed just was useless, inconvenient, troublesome, and “in the way” as the unborn are viewed today:  The Jews of Germany (in particular) and of Europe (in general).  The National Socialist German Worker’s Party, historically known as Nazis or the Nazi Party, voted into power in ever more increasingly greater numbers in the 1920s were finally given the reins of power when Adolf Hitler, the Nazi Leader, was asked by then-president Paul von Hindenberg to form a government.  When Hindenberg passed away in 1934, Hitler took his chance and became the sole leader of Germany, and began a reign of terror that didn’t end in Germany until the Spring of 1945.  Hitler’s propaganda machine was second to none, and his propaganda leader Joseph Goebbels was renowned for twisting the truth and bending policy and opinion to the desires of the Nazi Party.  One of his greatest accomplishments was portraying the Jews as not really human, his cartoonish caricatures of the Jews of Germany (and, again, later all of Europe) humorously showing Jews to be something like monkeys, gorillas, or monster-like with hooking noses, black colored clothing, and a “boogeyman” persona.  Goebbels’ and the Nazi propaganda machine’s greatest victory, however, was the label given to the Jews and other undesirables of Europe in the late 1920s to the end of the Spring of 1945: the title untermesch and untermenschen, meaning “subhuman” when translated from German to English (or any other language).  This term, applied to Jews from the beginning and infancy of the Nazi party, identified all undesirables in general and Jews in particular as less than humans, more akin to animals, and pests needing to be erased off of the face of the earth.  Another term Goebbels and his buddies introduced, not so long after the labeling of Jews and other miscreants as untermeschen, was the term Die Endlösung, again, translated as “Final Solution”.  After nearly a generation of hearing Jews called such terms, and their eradication euphemistically referred to in terms as no more harmful than swatting a fly, can it be any wonder that the German population and those in other nations surrounding Germany found it so easy to laugh off the deaths of people, who merely had the distinction to be a different race and religion?  Can it not be believable to see how Germans would declare that the Holocaust was a Hollywood production, seeing how easily it was to believe that the Nazis were doing the country and the continent a service in ridding their lives of a group and sector of society that was deemed inconvenient to national glory?  Is it further no surprise that since 1973, by the use of such terms as fetus and abortion are akin to the Nazi’s use of untermensch and Die Endlösung, generations of women (and the men who support them) have no real feelings towards disposing and killing an unborn baby?  After all, if the Jews weren’t seen as people, and the National Socialists of Germany were so casual in their mass murder at the hands of the Government, can it be no real surprise that at least three generations (and maybe more) of women have become casual when it comes to killing an unborn baby?  You see, friends, this is what SerenaDante’s l;evitous article essentially does:  it takes the sting out of the fact that we Americansd are legally killing babies for no other reason except for the convenience of women who can’t keep their pants on, legs closed, and out of the bedroom with men they aren’t married to and have no real desire to create a family with.  In fact, we have created, in the USA, such a system of destroying the unborn that Josef Mengele, Reinhardt Heydrich, Heinrich Himmler, and Adolf Hitler could only have dreamed of doing with the Jews in Europe.

Yes, There ARE Rights for The Unborn...

The amazing thing that SerenaDante glosses over in her listing of the “rights” she’d support for the unborn is the glaring fact that the unborn already have rights.  In the USA, when a drunk driver hits and kills a female motorist or passenger who happens to be pregnant, he is charged with two counts - not one - of criminal manslaughter.  If a murderer happens to kill a pregnant woman, he is charged for two counts of murder - not just one.  If a rapist happens to rape a pregnant woman, he is not only charged with rape, but also with the reckless endangerment of a child.  In fact, if a woman takes the initiative, circumvents the system of abortion clinics, and kills her own baby (performs a “self-administered ‘abortion’” if you will), she can be - and in some recent cases, have - convicted of murder in the worst, and manslaughter in the least.  In another case, an armed robber holding a group of people hostage happened to see a pregnant woman among his captives.  He shot the woman in the abdomen, resulting in the death of her unborn baby.  While the robber didn’t hurt anyone else, he was charged with assault with a deadly weapon and attempted murder with the mother and 2nd Degree murder in the death of the unborn baby (see This Site for further cases of those who kill babies while they are still in their mothers’ wombs).  These are rights, statues, and laws that SerenaDante so casually and cavalierly white washes in her attempt to be witty, clever, and humorous.  If abortion is so necessary, so needed for women, why is it that in certain cases, criminals are charged with murder when the baby dies, even if the mother lives?  Why do drunk drivers get charged with a double felony when the mother and unborn baby are killed as a result of his drinking and driving if abortion should be legalized across the board?  Some of the respondents to SerenaDante’s story have stated that a woman getting pregnant makes her a slave to the state, yet is this not a woman willfully entering into slavery when she has sex with a man?  And do these protective laws also make a pregnant woman a slave to the state?  Does charging a murderer with two counts when he kills a pregnant woman enslave women?  If this is so, how so?  I have always found it utterly and completely amazing to see and hear how liberals and those of the leftist stripe in the Democrat party claim to care for children, yet they are generally the first to strike down protective laws that encourage pregnancy, deny the unborn their rights, and state with unequivocal arrogance and cockiness that “it’s a woman’s choice” and that the baby is merely a glob of flesh, when laws exist charging law-breakers who kill an unborn baby with a felony.

In God’s Eyes, The Unborn DO Have Rights

Like it or not, friends, God places special emphasis on the unborn:

“Yea, the darkness hideth not from thee; but the night shineth as the day: the darkness and the light are both alike to thee.  For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in my mother's womb.  I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.  My substance was not hid from thee, when I was made in secret, and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth.  Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in thy book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them.  How precious also are thy thoughts unto me, O God! how great is the sum of them!”

- Psalm 139.13~17

“Then the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.”

- Jeremiah 1.4~5

“Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost.  Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not willing to make her a public example, was minded to put her away privily.  But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the LORD appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost.  And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.

- Matthew 1.18~21

“And there was a certain man of Zorah, of the family of the Danites, whose name was Manoah; and his wife was barren, and bare not.  And the angel of the LORD appeared unto the woman, and said unto her, Behold now, thou art barren, and bearest not: but thou shalt conceive, and bear a son.  Now therefore beware, I pray thee, and drink not wine nor strong drink, and eat not any unclean thing: 5For, lo, thou shalt conceive, and bear a son; and no razor shall come on his head: for the child shall be a Nazarite unto God from the womb: and he shall begin to deliver Israel out of the hand of the Philistines.  Then the woman came and told her husband, saying, A man of God came unto me, and his countenance was like the countenance of an angel of God, very terrible: but I asked him not whence he was, neither told he me his name: But he said unto me, Behold, thou shalt conceive, and bear a son; and now drink no wine nor strong drink, neither eat any unclean thing: for the child shall be a Nazarite to God from the womb to the day of his death.  Then Manoah intreated the LORD, and said, O my Lord, let the man of God which thou didst send come again unto us, and teach us what we shall do unto the child that shall be born.  And God hearkened to the voice of Manoah; and the angel of God came again unto the woman as she sat in the field: but Manoah her husband was not with her.  And the woman made haste, and ran, and shewed her husband, and said unto him, Behold, the man hath appeared unto me, that came unto me the other day.  And Manoah arose, and went after his wife, and came to the man, and said unto him, Art thou the man that spakest unto the woman? And he said, I am.  And Manoah said, Now let thy words come to pass. How shall we order the child, and how shall we do unto him?  And the angel of the LORD said unto Manoah, Of all that I said unto the woman let her beware.  She may not eat of any thing that cometh of the vine, neither let her drink wine or strong drink, nor eat any unclean thing: all that I commanded her let her observe.”

- Judges 13.2~14

“And they said unto him, Where is Sarah thy wife? And he said, Behold, in the tent.  And he said, I will certainly return unto thee according to the time of life; and, lo, Sarah thy wife shall have a son.”

- Genesis 18.9~10

“And I will bless her, and give thee a son also of her: yea, I will bless her, and she shall be a mother of nations; kings of people shall be of her.  Then Abraham fell upon his face, and laughed, and said in his heart, Shall a child be born unto him that is an hundred years old? and shall Sarah, that is ninety years old, bear?  And Abraham said unto God, O that Ishmael might live before thee!  And God said, Sarah thy wife shall bear thee a son indeed; and thou shalt call his name Isaac: and I will establish my covenant with him for an everlasting covenant, and with his seed after him.  And as for Ishmael, I have heard thee: Behold, I have blessed him, and will make him fruitful, and will multiply him exceedingly; twelve princes shall he beget, and I will make him a great nation.  But my covenant will I establish with Isaac, which Sarah shall bear unto thee at this set time in the next year.”

- Genesis 17.16~21

“And the LORD visited Sarah as he had said, and the LORD did unto Sarah as he had spoken.  For Sarah conceived, and bare Abraham a son in his old age, at the set time of which God had spoken to him.”

- Genesis 21.1~2

“And Isaac intreated the LORD for his wife, because she was barren: and the LORD was intreated of him, and Rebekah his wife conceived.  And the children struggled together within her; and she said, If it be so, why am I thus? And she went to enquire of the LORD.  And the LORD said unto her, Two nations are in thy womb, and two manner of people shall be separated from thy bowels; and the one people shall be stronger than the other people; and the elder shall serve the younger.

- Genesis 25.21~23

“As thou knowest not what is the way of the spirit, nor how the bones do grow in the womb of her that is with child: even so thou knowest not the works of God who maketh all.”

- Ecclesiastes 11.5

“And there appeared unto him an angel of the Lord standing on the right side of the altar of incense.  And when Zacharias saw him, he was troubled, and fear fell upon him.  But the angel said unto him, Fear not, Zacharias: for thy prayer is heard; and thy wife Elisabeth shall bear thee a son, and thou shalt call his name John.  And thou shalt have joy and gladness; and many shall rejoice at his birth.  For he shall be great in the sight of the Lord, and shall drink neither wine nor strong drink; and he shall be filled with the Holy Ghost, even from his mother's womb.  And many of the children of Israel shall he turn to the Lord their God.  And he shall go before him in the spirit and power of Elias, to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just; to make ready a people prepared for the Lord.”

- Luke 1.11~17

“And in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God unto a city of Galilee, named Nazareth, To a virgin espoused to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David; and the virgin's name was Mary.  And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, thou that art highly favoured, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women.  And when she saw him, she was troubled at his saying, and cast in her mind what manner of salutation this should be.  And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God.  And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS.  He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David: And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end.  Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man?  And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.  And, behold, thy cousin Elisabeth, she hath also conceived a son in her old age: and this is the sixth month with her, who was called barren. For with God nothing shall be impossible.  And Mary said, Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it unto me according to thy word. And the angel departed from her.”

- Luke 1.26~38

All of these verses show the importance that the Lord places on the unborn.  He knows the names of each and every unborn child, how he or she will live, grows up, what direction s/he will take in life.  How many millions of futures and possibilities - known only to God - have been snuffed out?  How many possibly world-renowned composers, world-changing scientists, upstanding and internationally known leaders, gifted musicians, and life changing medical experts and doctors have been lost to this current generation simply because the mother in question chose to murder her unborn baby?

The Bottom Line: Mocking of Death, Laughing at the Murder of the Unborn - Signs of the Times

We are warned n the Bible that this day and age would come, the times when the very innocent in society would be snuffed out.  We have known from times past that the day would come where life and death would become the butt-end of a joke or an article attempting to be humorous.  We knew from Christ and his followers, both in the Old and New Testaments that the times would come when doing what is right and good would be turned on its ear, denigrated as evil, and wretched practices such as abortion and “women’s rights to choose” would be trumpeted.  We knew this would happen simply because this is what has happened in the past.  Instead of us sacrificing our babies and firstborn to ancient and grotesque images of stone, we are offering them to gods that are just as sightless, just as repugnant, and just as evil:  our own selfishness and callousness.  Friends, this situation in which we find ourselves in the USA, this crashing economy, the slide of the USA out of the power position she has been in for decades, this War on Terror and the eventual US Defeat in it, have all come about as a result of us harming the very apple of God’s eye, the raging infanticide we euphemistically label as “abortion”.  So long as we continue to promote it, and so long as we mock at this highest example of the abomination of shedding of innocent blood, the sooner, more devastating, and more intense will come the wrath and righteous execution of sentence form God the Father will come.  This fact makes me wonder how many of us will be laughing and seeking humor when a nuclear 9/11 comes raining down on the USA as a result of the Lord, again - as he did on 09.11.2001- pulling away his hand of protection from the USA?  Will we be levitous in that day, as we are today with the endless slaughter of the unborn?

Conclusion - We Need Revival

Folks, when we reach a day and age like today, where the systematic slaughter of the unborn is the butt of a joke and the punch line in an article, it is clear that we need revival and a great awakening such as we haven’t seen in ages.  We need revival in the USDA, and we need it now!  Only the Lord Himself can help us avoid the doom that is coming - both nationally and individually - and so long as we play games with him, thumb our noses at him, shake our fists in his face, and try things our own way, things will only get worse.  Pray for the lost, pray for those who need Christ, and pray, pray, pray, PRAY for revival in the USA!!!!

Prayer

Heavenly Father, I pray right now and today for Serena Dante.  I pray, Father, for your grace and truth to be poured out in her life.  I pray that one day, she will see the error of making light of something you call an abomination.  I pray for her and her loved ones to be blessed by your, Father, and that one day she will seek your face in repentance and salvation.  I pray for each and every other person who believes abortion and the murder of the unborn as some sort of joke and humorous.  I pray, Father, for the USA, and I pray for revival.  Father, a change in the Congress and Senate cannot help us in the way that a change from within, inspired by your Holy Ghost can!  We pray for that to take place, first and foremost, in the lives of Americans and those living in the USA today.  We need thee, Lord!  We need thee now more than ever!  We bless thy name, and we thank thee for the gift of salvation through Jesus Christ, and it is in his precious name we pray, Amen.

Verse to Remember:

“Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people.”

- Proverbs 14.34
