Will the Antichrist prosper the economy?
According to Daniel's prophecy, the Antichrist will work to redistribute the wealth of the world. The communists have always gained popularity with the lower economic strata of society by promising to divide the wealth of the rich and middle classes and redistribute their earnings to the poor. An overwhelming sense of entitlement in the under classes in the West is already paving the way for the slave-economic system of the Antichrist. He will use the same communist type tactics to gain popularity with the ignorant masses and to gain power over the economy. His greed and ability to control the economy will be unprecedented.
"Thus he shall act against the strongest fortresses with a foreign god, which he shall acknowledge, and advance its glory; and he shall cause them to rule over many, and divide the land for gain" (Daniel 11:39).
Daniel also foretold of the Antichrist's accumulation of great riches because of his total domination of the economies of the nations under his dictatorial control.
"He shall have power over the treasures of gold and silver, and over all the precious things of Egypt; also the Libyans and Ethiopians shall follow at his heels" (Daniel 11:43).
"Through his cunning he shall cause deceit to prosper under his rule;
and he shall exalt himself in his heart. He shall destroy many in their prosperity (Daniel 8:25a).
